Optec was interviewed this week by Don Baillargeon of MONEY TV (moneytv.net).
Spokesperson Larry Wilcox discusses how Optec works, and talks about the incredible mileage improvement and emission reduction that this product is capable of.
He also discusses how Optec could be the solution for Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi and Renault and the fix to their current failed emissions standards test results.
Money TV Don Baillargeon asked, "Now I know one of the things the company is really looking towards is the problems that Volkswagen is having with the cheap chip they put into their vehicles, their diesel vehicles specifically. "
Optec spokesperson, Larry Wilcox, replied, "Yes, we are really excited we have bent over backwards to communicate with all of the groups that have the same problem, including but not limited to, Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi and Renault. They are four of the vehicle manufacturers that are presently having problems in terms of qualifying for California Air Resources Board qualifications for emissions."
Larry went on to report, "And CARB of course focuses on nitric oxide and methane, meaning hydro carbon organic gases, and we reduced both of those gases to zero, so we believe that we have the panacea, the immediate fix for Volkswagen, and not withstanding we have the fix. We improved the performance and we improved the miles per gallon."
Larry went on to say, "we had a brand new VW Passat that we installed the Optec device on and we improved the miles per gallon from 40 to 60 to 70 miles per gallon. That is off the charts."
